How many sparklers do I need for my wedding guests?

Our wedding packages are based on 1 sparklers per wedding guest. However, sometimes 1 sparkler is not going to be enough. Here's an easy formula for determining how many sparklers you should have for each wedding guest.

  • 8" sparklers burn 35 sec
  • 10" sparklers burn 55-60 sec
  • 20" sparklers burn 2 min 32 sec
  • 36" sparklers burn 4 min 20 sec

For 10" sparklers multiply the number of guests x 3 for each guest to have sparklers throughout the night.

For 20" sparklers multiply the number of guests by 2. These are perfect for toasting or the couple's first dance and gives fabulous pictures.

For 36" sparklers multiply the number of guest by 1. Use these when the bride and groom are being announce for the first time or to create an archd when the bride and groom are leaving.

Wedding Package Examples:

25 guest wedding

10" = 75 sparklers
20" = 50 sparklers
36" = 25 sparklers

50 guest wedding

10" = 150 sparklers
20" = 100 sparklers
36" = 50 sparklers

100 guest wedding

10" = 300 sparklers
20" = 200 sparklers
36" = 100 sparklers

**The wire can get hot, so it is recommended to have buckets of sand strategically placed around the venue for disposal of the wire wedding sparklers.
